Casa Loma exibit in Toronto
I got a chance to see the Middle-Earth exibit in Toronto. It was neat, and some of the stuff was really cool -- like Saruman's laboratory, but it wasn't what I expected.
There were a lot of actual props from the movies there, but it was so crowded that you couldn't stop and really take a good look. The Ring was on display. It's a little unexpected, because I knew that it was just a gold band, but it looked so . . . plain. Oh well. The Ringwraiths costumes look perfect, and there was Sting, and Glamdring, and Legolas' bow, and that was pretty cool. There was also a lot of concept art from the movie, which was interesting. I've rambled here, so I hope that you can make sense of this, because I didn't |

Saruman's lab was very eerie, dark, There was all this stuff scattered around, most off which I had no idea what it was -- but it looked cool and evil. It was really disogranized.
Let's see. It was a creepy part of the exibit. There were all these bottles filled with liquid, and a whole bunch of archaic alchemist's tools. That's all I can think of at the moment. I would've taken pictures, but you weren't allowed. |
