Whatever happened to Radagast ?
At the end of the book, "The Grey Havens", when the great and wise leave ME, there is no Radagast. Where was he then? In "The Ring Goes South ", when the scouts are sent out prior to the Fellowship leaving Rivendell, it is reported that :

Personally I think he was killed after he delivered the message to Gandalf. It would also be a sign of how much Saruman had fallen, having one of his own brother wizards murdered. |

Well! It's about time someone asked about me. After I "missed the boat" I have been stuck on this Valar forsaken place for thousands of years!!!!

He was forced to retire from the spotlight after an infortunate incident involving three swans and a young prince of Dol Amroth.

Saruman certainly did not murder Radagast. He only meant that Radagast was deceived, though he wanted Gandalf to believe that the former was on his own side. This was impossible: Gandalf said it was impossible to try to corrupt the honest Radagast.
With a little Secondary Belief, I wouldn't be surprized to discover Radagast was still around today, minding his own business and not concerning his with mankind. Wayfarer, noone knows what you're talking about accept Amandil and I, give it up

Say not corrupted! One may fail a mission of noble intent, and yet not be stained by the Shadow. He forsook his mission and neglected his purpose, for which he was sent. Misguided (by himself), maybe, but not corrupted, I think.
Perhaps Radagast's biology was more one of zoology and a bit of botany, I don't know.

With all respect Miss ArwenEvenstar I think you are wrong there ... Radagast was the Brown wizard of nature, so he must be the Easter Bunny !
A big, brown bunny wabbit handing out big, brown choccy eggs... mmmmh ( I think I really should cut back on the caffeine ... lol )

He is one of those tree hugging hippie types that eric cartman is always grumbling about I think he spends most of his time protecting Nessie, Bigfoot and Yetis.
