Race for Elven Lord or Welcome to the first Lord!!
Who is the first in the race for nobility?
I.E. Who will be the first Elven Lord? Do you have stats on that Ben? |

Re: Well, you'll see when you click on it
No one will be an Elven Lord ever! You all said it yourselves.....if you get too close, we'll just make you a mod.
J/K, but you know it is just a title, it is not like you are going to win a free dinner at the Sizzler. However, if you become one, I'll give you a dollar if you mention it on a resume. I can see it now: Shanamir Duntak, Elven Lord. Okay, I'll shut up now. |

Re: Well, you'll see when you click on it
Actually, I was the one saying that there'd never be an Elven Lord. I think Ben said at one point that he didn't have stats on the global users. The only way to know for sure would be with a local account; then your number of posts would be in your profile. OTOH if you changed to a local account, you'd be starting all over again.
edited to add: I just looked at your profile. You have 237 posts, but I don't know if they're just on this board. Only you will know that. Almost halfway... |

Re: Well, you'll see when you click on it
Actually, with User Levels, us admins can see users by their titles and thus their post count range.
Exact posts is a different issue... |

How many posts do you need to be an Elven Warrior?

Re: Well, you'll see when you click on it
500
This is why we admins debated whether or not to give ranks and title based on post count, because it would become a competition and people would stop caring about quality and care more about quantity |

Re: Well, you'll see when you click on it
Well, my goal with the titles was to increase the quantity of quality posts
To be an Elven Warrior you need 100 posts, and to be an Elven Lord you need 500 posts, at this board alone. There are currently 13 Elven Warriors: arynetrek, captain Tarpols, Elanor, emilsson, Eruve, etherealunicorn, juntel, Michael Martinez, Niffiwan, noldo, Quickbeam, Shanamir Duntak, and thrawn96. Of these, captain Tarpols, Elanor, Eruve, and juntel all have over 500 posts on the entire ezboard server, so any of them could theoretically become an Elf Lord at any post now . |

I think foul scorn of titles!
Check out the end of the Wooohooo thread in General Messages on Elvenhome's board. We have been having a discussion on this very topic.
The results may surprise you! pub22.ezboard.com/felvenh...D=10.topic Being a Hobbit is of great satisfaction to me and I like it very much thank you! |

Gilthalion, I can think of nothing more appropriate than a hobbit reading The Hobbit!

Re: Race for Elven Lord
Woohoo! Thank you ezboard! Subjects are now editable!
Btw, there seems to be a feature that tells you how many posts you have here now... testing... So we'll know how close Eruve and Co. are, once they post... |

Re: Race for Elven Lord
I know I have more than 1219 posts here... I think it's only posts after some arbitrary date. I guess the true test will be if anduin, a local user, has post count under the name matching up with the one in her profile!

Re: Race for Elven Lord
I don't think the post counts are accurate. I post on another board under a local account. According to my profile, I have just over 900 posts there, but according to the post count that appears under my user name on the board I have 400 some posts. Same with the admin. there. The board says she has 1400 some posts and she has way more than that.
