Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about this issue?

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

I think that mods should be able to vote. There really aren't many members who "qualify" to vote, and the mods dont seem too biased. The admins do, since they're wearing buttons.

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

Taters right! There is no point to this poll. All admins should be able to vote! Can Bill clinton vote? YES!! Who is he going to vote for? Gore of course! So why can't our admins, bmilder, tater, anduin, and IP, vote for whoever they want too? The only reason that people are saying NO is becuase they don't like the candidate that they think the admins are supporting. So obviously Gil and GDL96 are saying NO, not fair. But it IS FAIR. As you can see, greg (GDL) wants mods to be able to vote. That is only because he thinks that the mods support him. You don't konw for sure that all of the admins support me (HOBBIT). To make it more "fair" you could let the administration vote except for bmilder. That way, the person counting the votes will still remain imparcial. BTW, the ballot isn't secret, i can look over bmilders shoulder

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

i posted my message before i saw gregs, but what he says does prove what i said in my message, Greg wants the mods to vote. Gee, i wonder why (look at my message above). Greg is right about something though, their aren't to many members that "qualify" Most of them are members who joined about 2 months ago, about the same time as gil. They don't really know for I (HOBBIT) am or who greg is. They were going to vote for gil no matter what the outcome of the debate. Alot of the "old" members that new us better haven't all posted in the last 2 months. So why not let teh administration vote? Gil, if you are so sure that you are going to win, why not let them?? Think of it as a challenge or whatever...

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

most of old members have already become mod/admins (or are banned ) so this elections only take heed of the later months.

it's as if you we're going to vote in the USA only knowing what Clinton has done in the later months (if he had done anything, i mean )

If you're going to get all emotional about it, then fine, disregard my vote.

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

Saying that admins are biased aludes that we would somehow fix the election. Although, I have not ruled out that Ben may cheat, since he is the one who will actually count the votes. But there is no real reason that admins shouldn't be allowed vote or even campaign for the nominees.

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

I know, but since we sorta stopped moderating the debate I figured the rule should be changed.

HOW ARE WE MORE BIASED THEN ANYONE ELSE WHO FAVORS A CANDIDATE?

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

I don't know, but the majority of voters in this poll seems to think so.

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

Don't be so quick.
There is only a one point lead between No and Yes. Plus, the number of Yes votes and Only Mod votes totals more than the No votes. Therefore, I think that another poll should be made to see whether just mods can vote, or both admins and mods can vote.

Re: Should mods and admins be allowed to vote?

Actually, despite the admitted biases of the admin/mods, I can't argue against allowing their votes. I would insist that THE ONE RING be allowed to vote as a moderator, even though away for a time.

Every regular poster who wants to vote, should vote. It won't be the end of ENTMOOT if I lose! (But you'll all pay! Mwah ha ha ha ha ha!) I do agree with one vote per individual.

VOTE GILTHALION TODAY!!!!!
