Burning Question of the Century
How exactly is the correct way to pronounce "bmilder"? This question has bothered Tolkien scholars since before the turn of the century, and it would be proper to lay our minds at rest. Is it BEE-mile-der, bee-MILE-der, buh-MILE-der, Buh-MILL-der, BEE-mill-der, or bee-MILL-der? I always said buh-MILL-der, but I could be wrong...

The last name is like the word "milder," basically MILE-der. The b is just my first initial, it doesn't really matter which one you give the emphasis to (Elanor and Nut get 24 second bans for not knowing that )

You know, this is really a deep question, and we should discuss all the possibilities. I like "Be Milder." It sounds very profound and philosophical. I bet Ben didn't even know his name was so meaningful.

LOL I didn't think of that :P Good thing not everyone here is as unoriginal as me, or we'd have "kmorales" and other boring names along with bmilder :P

bee mill der
It's quite funny. Almost every time they anounce Ben's name on the loudspeaker in the morning at school, they pronounce it like mill-der. I always get a kick out of that. Most people think thats how you pronounce it.
