LotR dreams
do you have dreams about LotR?
I had one once where I was an archer (human I think) in a battle in Ithilien, and all the archers could fly! I also had another one where I was playing tag, I was Frodo and Sauron was It. |

I had a nightmare of LOTR once. Scared the hello outta me. I was running through this dark forest and clutching something in my hand, which was the One Ring, and something was chasing me. I looked back and saw a Nazgul hacking away branches and running after me so I put on the Ring and disappeared. Then, someone was yelling my name and I dashed out into a dirt road path and saw far ahead Aragorn (Viggo) and Frodo (Elijah) calling out for me and the rest of the Fellowship following them (Gandalf, however, wasn't there). I screamed "Help!", but they didn't hear me and something jumped on my back. I felt this sharp pierce in my back and screamed, then woke up sweating. I didn't understand it one bit. It felt as real as day, though, which was the scary part. If anyone is good at deciphering dreams, tell me your opinion. Maybe I just obsess too much over LOTR

I had a weird dream.....
Well, the only person that will understand this is me, but I have a teacher named Mr. G, and he's really short (like, 4'6'') and I had a dream that he was Bilbo, and all of his students were Balrogs (me included) and we chased him off of a cliff, but then the principle came and saved him....I had this dream right before he gave us a test...

I had a dream where impersonators of the principal cast came to my house.
"You're not real, are you?" I said. "No," they said. "I'm dreaming, aren't I?" I asked. "Yes," they replied. Then I woke up. |

I had a dream I had an awesome dream
People in the park Playing games in the dark And what they played was a masquerade From behind the walls of doubt A voice was crying out! Say you, say me.... - Lionel Richie I had a dream where Smeagol sneaked into the house and I came face to face with him in the dark with his eyes glowing. I turned on the lights and he turned into this life-sized gummi gollum and I helped myself...

I sometimes have dreams where I am Glorfindel. An shining elf on a white horse, saving the ringbearer from danger. Too bad he got replaced in the movie.

I got most strange dream last night...Yes, of LotR...
I was playing poker in big groub. Shares were Nine Rings, Seven Rings, Three Rings and One Ring. Players were, exept me, Sauron, Nazgûls, Gandalf, Elrond and Galadriel. Everybody was saying, that Sauron cheats, but in the end was found out, that Gandalf had been cheating all the time, when all were accusing Sauron... I won two of the Seven Rings and one of the Nine, when I quitted (felt like I was going to lose next time). I can't remember, how it ended, though... That was one damn odd dream... |

Do you ever notice that you never seem to be able to dream about what you want. The harder you try, and the more you think about it, the less likely it is to happen. At least for me anyway. The closest I ever get to dreaming about the books or characters is, (don't laugh) I dream I am on the message board talking about it to you guys. Isn't that a bummer? I mean I can wake up and make that dream a reality.

I have had two notable LOTR dreams:
In the first one, me (and possibly a few of my friends) were standing beside a river: not a woodsy river, but a canal running through a city. A bier is floating down the river, made of compacted garbage-- newspapers and bottles and such squished together into a sturdy rectangle. Upon it lies a dead Galadriel. There are flowers in her hair. (I'm not usually this morbid. I was having a conversation with a friend about all the death and fading in LOTR, and this is how it manifested itself.) The dream soon turned into something about "Dude, Where's my Car" (a very silly movie that I wouldn't recommend seeing unless it's 3 AM and you've had too much caffeine). The second, which I had just last night, was not really about LOTR, but near the end of it, I was looking at this necklace-thingy, and there was this very pretty sapphire stone on it, and I remember associating it with Vilya (Elrond's ring). There were a few gold dangly medallions on the necklace as well, and one of them, which was engraved with a woodland scene with a very ent-like tree, seemed to have the word "Feanor" hidden in the drawing, but I could only find "Fea" and was wondering where the "nor" was. A few minutes later, my alarm woke me up. I know, I have a bizarre mind.

When I was last time reading the LotR, and when I was at the point where Frodo and Sam are in the Mordor and their travelling is extremely hard and painful, I had dream about me being in some dark and deserted land and very very tired.
It was a horrible dream... I would rather dream about Lothlorien or something...

Well, I want more LOTR dreams. If I can't live in Middle-earth, does it hurt to dream I'm in it?

Lissa wants LOTR dreams! Now! In case you didn't guess, I've never had a LOTR dream...but I want one...very, very badly! I guess I'm stuck in Sister Golden Hair's predicament.
Lucky every one who has actually had LOTR dreams!
