Sindarin Scholars, Help!

I just got a Celtic harp and I want to name it in Elvish, preferably Sindarin. I want something like "lark song" I think. I'm also thinking of "voice of rain." I'd like to know how these sound in Sindarin so I can try them out. Can any of you learned ones out there help me out?

Strider

i can't find a word for lark in sindar - but one of the most beloved singing birds of the elves was the nightingale.

song is - aerlinn

nightingale is - dulin(with an accent over the 'u' in dulin); or it can be - merilin

so possibly you could say:

aerlinn o i dulin -- song of the nightingale

or you could say: dulinaerlinn

*****************************

voice is - lamath

rain is - ross

so you could say:

lamath o i ross -- voice of the rain

or you could say: rosslamath

i just edited my post - nightingale has 2 words that you can use for it: dulin; merilin - not the phrase 'dulin or merilin'.

tinuviel is an archaic word also for nightingale.

Hey, thanks so much, Vardasoroniel. "Nightingale song" is a beautiful meaning but "voice of rain" is my favorite so I'll probably use Rosslamath. That's euphonious and I think it suits my harp. Thanks!
