Fellow fans, i need to enlist your help

Okay, i r eally hope that y'all believe me, cuz this may sound far fetched...

Billy Boyd (he played pippin) is coming to I-CON (anime, scifi and fantasy con). WEll my friend is interiewing him (trying to remain calm.....)

Setsu doesn't know a lot about LotR (shame on her). So she asked me, and decided to consult highr powers. THIS MEANS YOU.

So, what would you guys ask the guy who played pippin

THANKYOU ALL SO MUCH!

I would ask: Can I have your autograph?
No, really, um, maybe: What was the most moving scene you filmed or What was the worst scene to film or something.

"What is your least favorite animal?" followed directly by "How did this affect your acting in the movie?"

"Did you have to practice, or does acting stupid come naturally to you?'

"Are mushrooms at all habit-forming?'

"Whre does aragorn get his magical wraith killing swords?"

"What exactly is the nature of your relationship with galadriel?"

um... seriously?

I have no clue.

I feel the need to balance my sardonic ones with honest ones.

"Tell me about the experience of playing a main character for what is often acclaimed as 'the most influential book of the twentieth century.'"

"What's it like working with Peter Jackson? What do you like/dislike about his style?"

~ What was the most difficult thing about doing all 3 films at once?

~ Are you pleased with your role in the overall LotR, or did you disagree with cuts/adaptations made to the scripts?

Are you anything like Pippin in real life? In what ways?

How has making these movies been a learning experience for you?

Did you enjoy New Zealand? Were the locals friendly?

What was your favorite part of the set/prop?

Did you get to keep any of the props/costumes? Which ones?

First, I would tell him that if he even mentions the pipe and the pointy ears, I would wring his scrawny neck.
then,
Did you actuall have any input into the movie besides doing and saying what you were told to do and say? NO? then I'll take my questions to Peter Jackson, thankyouverymuch

seriously:
Have you actually read the books, and how many times?
Pippin's character really comes to the foreground in RotK. I felt that Merry and Pippin's characters were over trivialized in the FotR movie. Will the next too correct that portrayal, or should we expect the two younger hobbits to remain the slapstick portion of the movie?

Ask him if the feet were the bane of his existence. Then, ask him where his tattoo of the Elvish "9" is. And then ask him if he wants to come to Entmoot. (I'm with Renille on that one)

Did you read LOTR or the Hobbit before hearing about this movie?

Will you send Rosie Cotton the autographs of the whole cast?

yeah - I'm with you Crickhollow. I want to know if Pippin and Merry will still be relegated to the the Laurel and Hardy characters or if they will actually show some character growth. In FOTR - they were pretty two dimensional.

Neither Merry or Pippin even gave Frodo the speech about being friends and that no matter what bad stuff may be ahead of them - they were there to support Frodo. Ask him why that side of Pippin and Merry was left out. To me that was the key reason they were on the quest.

Sorry - but Pippin was my favorite character in the books - but I hated him in the movie. But again it was because of Jackson. The script and direction just twisted Pippin and Merry's characters into two clowns.

If he says he'll come to Entmoot, work out a password question so we'll know it's him.

I agree, Elf Girl, we don't want some crackpot fool to get on and pretend he's Billy.

Did you study Pippin in the books to get an idea of his character? Had you read the books prior to signing for the movie?
