The Window on the West - yea or nay?
Do you think it'll be included in the Extended Edition of The Two Towers?
In Tolkien's work, it seems to me that it fit perfectly. The encounter with Faramir and the Rangers of Ithilien was kind of a "makeshift Rivendell": a chance to rest, to heal, and to prepare for the hard times ahead, though of course it was far shorter than either Rivendell or Lorien. This beautiful scene fit in perfectly there, I think. But of course, Jackson's work is something wholly different, and must be viewed separately. Of course, we all know what he did with Faramir and co., so I shan't go into detail there. But it seems to me that in this dark scene of danger and betrayal, the Window on the West would not really be appropriate, and would seem rather awkward. What is your opinion?

I know, it would be nice, but I'm not sure if it would fit in the context. But I'm still rooting for it.

Hmm, maybe I should rethink my plans on marching on Wellington to slap him silly with a cold wet fish?

You can see a little of the extended edition here: http://www.lordoftherings.net/index_400_hv_presell.html
As for the widow of the west being included, I doubt it. Faramir's cave had a different feel from the book, so I would think including it would be inappropriate.
