aintitcool but isitwrong?

Someone help me with this...

this article
http://www.aintitcoolnews.com/display.cgi?id=11671

goes on about the CGI work for TT and talks about Frodo wrestling with Gollum and how Gollum finds the ring in the waters of Ithilien....

are they getting this aboutface, shouldn't Sam be wrestling with Gollum and does the Ithilien reference actually relate to a flashback to Smeagol/Deagol?

I find ainitool useful but often wide of the mark. Or are there more changes?

I had read that Fran Walsh wrote and directed an entire flash back sequence about Gollum finding the ring. I am pretty sure they mean to include in the TTT. As far as wrestling with Frodo and not Sam, that I have not heard but then again I was surprised to see Boromir actually pick up the Ring in FotR. Think of it as revisionist history....

That also surprised me; wouldn't he go all gollum-y and not give it back?

Well aldesign, such are the perils of modern culture, which is perpetuated by aintitcool. Now if they had raised the question that coolismo did then it could've been a better report. It's easy to become swept away with insider glimpses and lose perspective. But that's why we have the good old ent moot.
