For those of us who love Entmoot but often can't think of much to say:
At least let us know you dropped by!

Yeah, I drop in here now and then and read what there is. Never have anything to say though as this seems to be the more stuck-up, christiany Tolkien board on the web. Hows Valandil and Rian and that bimbo who thought she knew waht my regular drink was at the Ikon in Seattle?

Rian's been wandering thru Mordor this last year My daughter contracted a rare and serious nerve disease whose charming nickname is the "suicide disease" It's RSD, sometimes called CRPS. We were able to find an experimental treatment that put her in remission after a year of multiple surgical treatments where I usually didn't even know what day of the week it was; it was like "today is Dr. abc, so tomorrow is Dr. xyz, and the next day is another spinal block".
And this is on top of dealing with my handicapped son (who's doing great, btw - starting his 2nd wrestling season soon) and my own stupid physical issues. But there are still many beautiful things in life ... Anyway, the first remission lasted 3 months, then she responded well to treatment again and this remission seems to be much stronger. We're 2 1/2 months into this remission. I haven't had much time for the internet, obviously, but it's nice to see old faces here! Sane - how are the horses? If you have any, please give them a kiss on their soft, lovely little noses for me ... and take a big whiff of their lovely scent ... and give their cute little hineys a good friendly smack! And people - be grateful for your health, if it's decent! But it's made her a stronger person; that's the silver lining. So how are you, Snowdog? Hope things are well with you.

I know; this is hilarious!
But also kinda sad ... I think the Moot is going the way of the Ents ... But it was sure beautiful while it was in its prime, wasn't it?!

It was my first step into forum land and I love Entmoot very much, but I don't think the times from before will come back.

I've been neglecting this place for far too long - not even lurking!
The times can indeed be what we make them, sometimes.

Yeah, even lurking has been patchy lately. Work's busy, the heating's patchy and the computer room is the coldest of the house which means I'm not all that internet-prone either.
