Re: 335,000 Napster accounts... all gone.
Nope. I don't have any Metallica songs, or any by Dr. Dre, or Eminem. Getting deleted seems like an appropriate punishment for listening to such garbage
But seriously, I think Metallica is doing the wrong thing. The music industry should be working with Napster, not against it. And CD's shouldn't cost so much! Sadly, I don't think Napster is long for this world; I don't know how it can handle all those lawsuits. In other news I now have 156 mp3's . I don't fear getting deleted at the whim of a jealous "musician" because I don't think that John Williams or Weird Al Yankovic or Tchaikovsky or whoever writes all that game music will sue . As long as you stick to music that is actually music, you should be fine. After Napster goes away, there are always other programs, like Gnutella. |

Eminem is being deleted too????? You sure????? I havent been deleted yet. Thankfully, ben made me aware that Dre might do the same thing that metallicca would do, so i deleted my one dre song. Are you sure about eminem? Cuz the one song I have from him (the real slim shady) is the best.
Im pretty much against all this for the reasons ben mentioned, except i dont like how he said "Getting deleted seems like an appropriate punishment for listening to such garbage " I happen to like this garbage |

Well, Kaitan claimed that Eminem had a list of names too, but I haven't heard about that anywhere else so it might not be true. I know for a fact Dre made a list though.

Well, this is an expected turn of events. Although I thought by now that napster would be completely gone. It's just not a company that can survive in this world. And Ben, I usually agree with you about music, but the real slim shady is a good song.
