~My Poem, "Vampire"

Be easy on me, I'm not a real poet, lol Its basically about a vampire and his victim, a woman who can't even see his true nature.

He hides in the shadows,
like a predator stalking his prey.
His piercing eyes bear into your soul,
as if he could read your very thoughts.
He's dressed all in black; you all in white.
With his deceit he blinds you,
and with empty words he gains your trust.
Lies flow from his lips.
He's done all he has for this one moment,
To be alone with you in the dark.
His eyes focus on your pale neck,
with a thirst long unsatisfied.
As his moonlit silhouette slowly approaches you,
even now you cannot see his true heart,
even as he prepares to finish his deadly task.

" Now if you were a hot dog,and you were starving, would ya eat yourself? I know I would! First I'd smother myself in brown mustard and relish..I'd be so delicious!"

It's pronounced 'Hether', not 'Heether', biznotch!

He hides in the shadows,

His piercing eyes bear into your soul, how about 'bore' into your soul? don't know if eyes can bear!
as if he could read your very thoughts.
He's dressed all in black; you all in white.
With his deceit he blinds you,
and with empty words he gains your trust.
Lies flow from his lips.
