disney ride movies, what?
Why is Disney's latest gimic to make movies out of their rides or attractions??
First Pirates of the Caribbean, then Haunted Mansion - what next?

they have run out of ideas. they r short on any new schemes, so why not for the hecl of it make movies out of the rides?

I know what you mean. I haven't been able to bring myself to see the Pirates of the ... bwhahahahaha!!! sorry... it's just that I can't think of the title without thinking of the ride at Disney World. LMAO! |

First, what is LMAO? And second, doesn't it seem weird that the majority of the movies coming out this year are re-makes, sequels, and movies based on rides? Still, Pirates is great, and you should see it!

Tristan, you forgot about Country Bears. It came out last summer.
I actually want to see Pirates, but I don't think I'll get a chance till it comes out on DVD. Haunted Mansion has Eddy Murphy in it, so I don't think it will be good. (Murphy is a funny guy, but he has been in quite a slump the past few years, and I don't think Haunted Mansion will help) |

Pirates of the Caribbean was already the concept with the most cinematic potential. You just know they'll do Space Mountain at some point or another but I'm not sure how they could pull off a good film there. I think the Thunder Mountain Railroad would make a good period flick in the right hands, however...
