Good things about April
For me:
The students have buggered off for Easter and the tourist season hasn't started yet, so the streets of Durham are nice and quiet! When the students do get back it will be warm enough for the female ones to be wearing short skirts - yay! The swallows will be back soon (no sign of any here at the moment though) I'll no longer freeze at Gateshead Thunder matches - though no doubt we will keep losing no matter what the weather The sight screens are out and the pitch marked out at the univ sports ground - the cricket season is here!

baseball season
finally some warm weather (i hope  )longer days short skirts are nice too... but probably another month for that here

I wonder if the stoners know they're celebrating BOTH Hitler's birthday and the anniversary of the Columbine school shooting. ::shrug::
I love April. It's my birthday month, the weather is absolutely fantastic, I'm going to prom with one of my best friends (we're going to go bowling before the dance), it means graduation is that much closer, and I adore driving with the windows down.

And I may be a stoner - soon to be ex maybe. But I've never bothered to celebrate 4/20. I'm too busy with Ostara.
