Is Michael Jackson gonna get his hands on those as well?

It depends if Mr Mcartney offers them for the right price (which I'm sure he will, after he has re-issued the album, sold the TV + advertising rights etc etc). |

Maybe he'll re-credit the songs - some are McCartney only with obedient Starkey and Harrison, while others are Lennon concepts actualized by Harrison. So the credits, ahem - alphabetical would say Harrison/Lennon, or if the traditional lyrics/composer order is used, Lennon/Harrison, but definitely NOT Lennon/McCartney.
I'm hoping for the rooftop concert in its entirety, or is that too much to ask for.

Beatles fan here. Or more to the point, John Lennon fan. I read the news today while at work, regarding those recovered Beatles tapes. I thought it very good news, but I doubt how much of that material will be released. If the majority of it is from the Get Back sessions, let's face it, and y'all can bludgeon me to death if you must, but most of those sessions are crap. John said so! The band was after all in denial, some deeper than others (Paul), that they were in the throes of breaking up. The rooftop concert would be nice, but I dunno. I even listen to Beatles For Sale more often than Let it Be. As for Paul's sudden EVIL concerning the songwriting credits, do not get me started. I only remain relatively composed by assuming that this monumentally bad taste on Sir Paul if you please's part applies only to this new live album of his or any other such, and will not affect the credits on future printings of actual Beatles albums.

Cool news about the tapes, but I probably won't buy them. I still havn't bought all thier CD's (I have heard them all, though). I don't like Let it Be as much as the other albums. I agree with Huan, Sir Paul is mad for wanting to change the credits to McCartney/Lennon. It's for Yesterday, isn't it? Didn't he go all through that a few years ago and thats why he and Yoko arn't best friends? John and Paul agreed years ago that it should be Lennon/McCartney. Take your own advice, Paul and let it be. I don't know what is going on with Paul lately. In case you can't tell, I'm still peeved at Paul for cancelling his Australian concert, which I had very good seats. And don't get me started on wacko Jacko.

Wow, I guess I have missed something important, because I didn't realise that Paul was still being a twat about the credits. (Alphabetically makes you sense, you twit.) Anyone got a link to this?
Btw: Just to be different, I quite like their get back stuff. Not as much as Abbey Road, Sgt. Peppers, White Album, Help!, or Magical mystery tour, but I still like it more than their few 2 albums.

I'm guessing we'll see another pair of CDs in the "Anthology" series, without any channelling of the spirits of John and George to generate sales. All I'd realy like, in my perverted archivist desire for completeness, is the complete "Dig It". You just know it's gotta be on there!
