Knights of the Old Republic
The first trailer for the new Star Wars MMO, The Old Republic is out, so I thought this would be a good time to discuss it and the Old Republic series.
The game is a sequel to the to previous games also made by Bioware: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords. Anyone played these? Enjoyed them? I'm really sad that the sequel to these great games is an MMORPG, instead of just an RPG like that last two were. That basically screws any of us who don't want to invest in an MMO but do want to continue with the story set up by the two previous games. Bioware left their real fans in the dust here, if you ask me. Anyway, I'm saddened, but the trailer is awesome. Let the speculation begin about who the new Sith Lord is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BjJaAA5A7w

I'm looking foward to it alright, its revolutionary as far as MMO's are concerned. Especially with the choose what you say feature. Its like Knights of the old republic 1 + 2 but online.

Tomorrow night, at the Spike Tv Video Game Awards, the new Star Wars title is going to be announced! I really hope it is KOTOR III...
It is more likely Battlefront III, but a man can hope... http://www.spike.com/event/vga2009/p...x=&viewOption=

Wow. Turns out I was wrong on both counts...the new Star Wars game title is The Force Unleashed 2. I had my hopes up for KOTOR III for a day or so there...
