RTS or Turn-Based Strategy

For those strategy game people out there (Starcraft, C&C, Civ, etc. ), which kind of strategy game do you prefer: Real-Time Strategy (RTS) or Turn-Based Empire-Building (TEBE)? Is this the right forum to post this in??

Age of Wonders and AoW: Shadow Magic are the two best TBSs created, IMO. Especially AoW, was released in 1999 and still going strong on my comp...Pretty fond of the HoMM-series (loved HoMM II & III) and Rome: Total War as well. When it comes to RTS...played a few of them, the one I used to play the most was Age of Empires 2. Warcraft III had the best campaign I've ever seen in a strategy-game, and AoW: Mythology was pretty fun for a while, but I still prefer TBS.
