I'm heading off on Friday for a weekend with some of my friends - just the girls! Loads of fun - one of my favorites things in the world One of them has a cabin up at Big Bear Lake - it's lovely up there. We just do what we want and enjoy each other's company - total luxury!

Oooh, cute fishie!
Not so happy for the moment, worrying too much over other people's problems. Still, fishie is enough to raise a smile. Makes me want to go and watch Finding Nemo again.

Ahhhh, relaxation.
I finally decided that enough was enough, and I sat down to figure out why I was so stressed out over the audition. I singled out some of the things I've been thinking about, which I already know aren't going to be true, and then I singled out the big 'physical' things that are making me nervous (i.e. not getting enough sleep, not taking my allergie medicine regularly, and things like that). So last night I took my allergie stuff, drank a bunch of water, took some deep breaths, and went to bed -really- early. Today I woke up feeling much more relaxed and stable, and any time I felt myself tightening up, I just forced myself to relax, if that even makes sense . So I feel a lot, lot better. |

Good for you, Tessar
I'm happy because I'm going home for the weekend for my birthday, and I got all of my work done (as far as that's possible ) so I don't have to worry about that. |

And is the cabin found some time later with very little of the vacationers left? Let's hope not.

I'm not going now my friend's sister-in-law passed away, and she can't make it because she needs to stay around and help with the arrangements I was SOOOOOOOOOO ready for this trip!!! I could just smell the pine-y air .... *sigh* So the Big Bears will just have to tighten their beary belts and eat some pinecones

That is really sad. What people will stoop to these days...
On a happier note, I just got my ACT results back-a near-perfect 35! Yay!
