Who is Tulak?
I have a calendar called "The Fantasy Art of Keith Parkinson". The character for October is TulaK. I have no idea what book this creature comes from. Can anyone tell me? Thanks.

Calendars usually mention the book or at least the author from where the depicted creature comes from. I would believe it mandatory too, in view of copyright matters.
As that seems not to be the case here, and because a quick google search didn't seem to give any satisfactory answer, I think it's safe to assume that Tulak is made up by the artist in question.

The calendar in question has scenes from the Shannara books, from the Sword of Truth series, and from David Eddings's books. That is why I figured Tulak is a character from a book I have not read.
In the picture Tulak has a long, very hairy face. He has pointy ears that stick out toward the back of his head rather than upward like an elf. He has short spikes running from front to back on top of his head. He looks like an evil creature except for the pensive expression. There is nothing else on the calendar that indicates where it came from. peace.
