Who *is* playing Dumbledore?!

Carrying on from the rumour thread in the Middle Earth forum that is now closed, it now turns out that Michael Gambon playing Dumbledore is being denied by Warner Brothers. What the?!

So it's not Ian, and it's not Michael, then who is it??

Well, anyway, here's the Warner Bros denial of Gambon snagging the part:

Guess it's back to rumour mongering. So who are the remaining contenders?

I read that Christopher Lee was playing Dumbledor, but I haven't heard anything since, and that was quite a while ago.

I don't know either and i have heard about loads of different people wanting to, or, turning down the part. But i really would like to know who has got it!!!!

I wish Sir I. M. cold have been Dumbledor but Mars was not in the North sky but I guess they nedd an old guy that wont die soon.
