A few brief, brief thoughts:

- Worst Bond song ever. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

- Amazing car chase/duel. Finally, Bond actually gets to use his vehicle, and he's not the only one...

- Villains - above average, I'd say. Zao is a great henchman, though we don't really get to see him fight a lot... but see above note about the car. Graves is a pretty run-of-the-mill megalomaniac.

- Plot - twists, even the really apparently "unexpected" ones, were a bit predictable, but it kept me interested.

- Diabolical Plan - not the first time it's a superweapon in space, but I love how this one in particular was executed.

- Bond girl - average. We really don't see Halle Berry do much, and she's hardly in the thing.

- Exotic locations - lovely. I'm pretty sure Iceland isn't actually quite that icy, but still.

Out of the four Brosnan Bonds, I think this one is way better than the last two, but not quite up to GoldenEye.

Well i haven't seen it yet but my bro has. He thinks its fantastic. He absolutely loves bond and is a complete film fanatic. The car was on Top Gear the other week and looked really cool. Loadsa gadgets. they tried to make a budget version of the car. It was hilarious!!

right went to see it last night here are my thoughts POSSIABLE SPOILERS

The start- very very long. One of the lads sat behind me thought the movie had ended when the credits had kicked in thats how long it was.

Bond getting tourtured? whats up with that as well its bond he never loses.

my sis who quite fancies peirce didnt like the beard at all. Also they didnt excaltally starve old bondy in pirsion bit of lard there my friend.

Bond theme yuk horrid song.

from here on it gets better bond kicked out of mi5 or it 6 i can never rember for some unapprent reason escapes from a ship and sets off for 20 minutes trying to find out who set him up.

gets to cuba enter halle berry very nice looking thing she is too. Bit of a rauncery sex scean than used to but kinda worked didnt like watching it with my mum much mind.

find zao whos a good bond villan though looks a bit silly. Jinx dive off the buildings really bad cg.

basically from there on it we meat bad guy and the ever so fit bad woman (damn ideal woman very much) bad guy isnt very good beacuse well he just looks likes a ponce and i could beat him up.

but there is a lot of explosions and bare flesh so its much like a bond movie if a bit dark good but not great

IMO, not one of the best Bond flicks. Good sword fight, though. In fact, for my taste the sword fight saved the film. Also best Bond car since Goldfinger. The rest wasn't really as good as other Bond films.

Ack...stupid stuff like that in movies makes me cringe. Iceland is green, and Greenland is icey. I learned that in third grade!

I saw it and i thought it was ok, but they put the slow-motion bits in the wrong places which made it kinda pointless.

i agree though, worst Bond song ever!

Yeah some of the effects were simply terrible. Not a bad bond movie otherwise. Formulaic, but what can one expect.
