Tomb Raider: the Angel of Darkness
Tomb Raider: the Angel of Darkness, the newest Tomb Raider game by Eidos will be released in 2 days on June 18, 2003.
It was supposed to have been released last November but the date was put off, to my disappointment. However, the wait is supposed to be worth it. The graphics are supposed to be awesome, with Lara Croft alone being made up of about 5000 octagons rather than the usual 500. I'm currious how many other people at the forum play Tomb Raider games? |

I have played 1, 2, and most of 4. Unfortunately I found out the hard way that my ex-stupid-bitch-of-a-PC didn't like me loading all the games on at once, so I couldn't actually play them after that. And I couldn't delete the monster 5 games in 1, so I haven't been able to play any of them since, and now I'm on a mac. Anyway, I thought they just started getting repetitive. My favourite one has been number 2. This is supposed to be a break away from the predecessors though, so I might enjoy it. Who knows? Maybe it'll drag me away from Metroid Prime on the Gamecube.

I agree some of the early ones were. But I liked The Last Revelation. And I am looking forward to this new one. It should be good from what the critics are saying.

I have only played the first and chronicles but I loved them and if I had more money I would get the others
Yes, I've heard lots of good stuff about it. I think one of my friends is getting it the first day it comes out.

Well, that is in 2 days from today. Maybe your friend will let you play it also.

I used to play at my friend's house, I never really got into it though. At the time I was too obsessed with ChronoTrigger and ChronoCross to care about anything else.

I have played all the Tomb Raider games except for Chronicles. I don't own 3, but borrowed it from a friend. I have to say that Tomb Raider 2 is my favorite. The Last Revelation was cool, with some definite Indiana Jones moments. 2 is still the best. I might give Angel of Darkness a try.

part2... phew! No, never been to NJ except I flew into Newark once. I was taking a cruise out of NY. Didn't really see NJ nor NY much, I didn't have the time and I was busy talking to some people in the van so I never paid much attention to the outside. Sorry. |
