Who is your favorite Tolkien Trail fan art artist?

My favorites are Noldo and Sakata. Galadrial24's drawing is really good but there is only 1, you should put some more up. I like Juan Albuerne's, those must have been really difficult because they are so detailed, I tryed sculpure before, but I was no good.

My favorite Trail artist is, of course, Darth Tater, whose Gandalf is the signature image. Those reading the Star-Ledger article linked at the Trail should note that this is a New Jersey newspaper looking for a New Jersey hook for LOTR. Darth Tater's contributions went unmentioned not because they are less important but because he lives in Massachussetts. Boston Globe, please note.

Tater did all the artwork for the site. The only other pieces that were done by other people are labeled and are in the fan art section. Tater did that drawing....of course. Thats not a very nice thing to say you know. Can you draw better? Probably not.......

I agree with HOBBIT. If you want to talk about the tolken trail art work you had better be respectful because its a good bet they will see what you said.

just think what if I walked in to your room and looked at the quilt on your bed (witch you made) and said "oh yuck! that looks like someone puked on it! you shuld replace it!"

how would that make you feel?

I think Tater changed the pic to make it look more like a woman.....looks the same imo..... but I know that he did change stuff (like the lips, cheek line, chin,eyes? , etc etc).... Do you guys think it looks better?

Now it looks like an old grumpy woman. Sorry, Tater, I do love your art. I understand how it can be difficult though because I can never draw men's faces. Faces at all are hard to draw realistically, period.

waaay back when... there was a lot more time to post! Recently I have been thinking about drawing some more Sil characters. There's less chance of being influenced by the movie!

Yeah well, I fooled around with them for a while and it wasnt that hard. I'd be happy to do a drawing for you, I think i have just the picture of Boromir...
