What's Your Favorite Comic Strip?
Let me begin by saying that I don't really know where to put this thread. I'm not quite sure if it should be here, in the Entertainment Forum, or if it's considered General Lit. So, for lack of a better place, I've decided to start it in General Messages. If anyone feels it belongs somewhere else, by all means move it. Now that that's out of the way, on with the thread.
My all-time favorite comic strip is Calvin and Hobbes. Garfield runs a close second. Foxtrot is also one of my favorites, but we stopped getting a newspaper that carries it. What are your favorites?

I like the way he draws john's eyes (bugging out in shock usually). Cathy can be funny when there is information (or choice) overload and nobody can decide anything. Doonesbury is hilarious, the slacker guys in college and the aging swing babe Boopsie.

Farside is my absolute favourite - Gary Larson is so clever! Not far behind are Mutts, Peanuts, Garfield, Footrot Flats and Dilbert.

The Far Side, except it left our newspaper quite a while ago, so now Foxtrot.

I like the Far Side myself. Nothing like an absurd illustration to make you notice things.
Unfoortunately, I only get to read it from the book compilations; of which I have 2.

That's it Bop! Sometimes the cat plays with it's little pink sock which makes it totally happy for no apparent reason. It sings a song "little pink sock, little pink sock" .

Far Side is great because it is so sick. But my fav is Mallard Fillmore because it is by a Conservative/christian. I also like BC for the same reason.

I personally don't like Mallard Fillmore, but that's me, what did you expect
I have two of the Far Side books, but I want more! It's definitely my favorite. . .as I've said

My favorite comic strip of all time is Bloom County. I also love Pogo (very old comic). Others I love: The Far Side, Calvin and Hobbes, Mutts, Dilbert, Rhymes with Orange. I always loved Life in Hell, I don't know if Matt Groening still does it. Some newer ones I like: The Boondocks and Pooch Cafe are usually pretty good.

My all time favorites have to be Foxtrot, Calvin and Hobbes, and The Far Side. We have 3 Far Side books and I get them out every few years and just laugh my head off. I also like reading Luann, and Cleats and Mutts when I can get ahold of a copy of the only newspaper around here that prints them.
