LOTR video games

I heard that they are making a FOTR game for X-box and they are making a LOTR game for PS2, but it only has the FOTR and TTT in it. Does any one have any proof of these games

LOTR is definatly coming out for PS2.
It is coming out when the TT comes out in the cinema.
That is for England anyway. Im not sure about any other countries.

i have seen a couple of screenshots for the ps2 game..looks good, but there is still a large room for improvement..

i don't like the sound of lotr video games. it all seems like it's becoming too comercialized like they did with harry potter; luchboxes, potion making sets, etc.somehow "tacky"
but hey, the final products may yet prove me wrong.....

yeah but look at what happened when they released star wars computer games! MASSIVE star wars interest boom!

I've has a good look at the screenshots myself and they look good and i really think it's going to be ok. I mean there have been a couple of games in the past following the books anyway. they didnt spoil it did they?

As long as people dont expect the games to follow the books (because they wont. it will be the movie) and dont buy it just to be able to 'meet' legolas then i dont think people will be disappointed.
