Elijah Wood's Grandmother?
It turns out my family knows Elijah Wood's grandmother....she was at my great uncle's visitation.
How odd.

Uhm....no Hehe...it was funny, my grandmother sitting here, talking about it, and I'm just 'blushing' away (I dont 'really blush, my skin's too dark). It was funny. She kept making Grandma-y comments.
"He's really short, he's 5 ' 6'' and 21!" "I bet your friends will be jealous when the find out"...find out what? That my grandparents and father know his grandmother? Meh.

Do you have any idea how odd it is to admit to your grandmother that you have a shirtless picture of one of her friend's grandsons on your computer?
I would, if I had a chance, but I highly doubt I'd get to talk to 'good old Lij', as my grandma called him ::laughs::

I just told one of my friends the 'news' and she is freaking out in a good way. She's a funny person...she actually printed out those pictures I posted earlier and pasted them on her notebook

Oh, Starr Polish...
Re: "she was at my great uncle's visitation. "
Huh? Catholics use the word "Visitation" to describe when the angel Gabriel told Mary that she would bear God's son--Did your great uncle have a visit from a Vala or a Maia? |

His wake, then? I'm not Catholic, and I thought my grandparents were referring to it as his 'visitation'. The day before the funeral, when you go see the body of the deceased?
Anyway. If I DID get to interview him What questions woudl you want me to ask?

Oh, Starr Polish again...
That makes sense--I had just never heard the term used for that and was confused. (I think "wake" is a Catholic-only term, too, but am not sure, or maybe they just started it)
EW question--Hey, how's it going?

Starr, if you meet his grandma again see if she can call him and direct him here so we can talk to him. I cant think of a question. This is way to much. I'm gonna go and see if I can find his website again and then come back.
