Yay! Too bad it was a couple days too late to come before the 3 month anniversary... but oh well :P And the latest few members were Tolkien people, which makes it that much better

The latest three members seem to be Fat Middle, BG Munkey, and Eruve. I have no real way of knowing which was the 100th... If any of you guys are reading this, do you remember if you were #99, #100, or #101? (For curiosity's sake ) Welcome to the board, all. :P

Although entmoot is the biggest jrr tokien board on ezboard, most of the site is general messages. If I were made moderater, I could successfully contribute a great amount of knowledge to the tolkien discussion.

Ok, this took me awhile so I hope you appreciate it :P This graph is accurate as of approximately 8:35 PM EST, Monday, December 20, 1999. The graph is divided into four categories: -Tolkien topics -Star Wars topics -Feist and "other topics" (this includes the Riftwar forum and the non-GM "other topics") -General Messages <img src=http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Corridor/4689/images/entmootpercent.gif> General Messages has a little less than half of the board's current number of posts. I guess that's not completely bad; the JC's Community forum has more than any other forum, including the SW ones...

"I have no real way of knowing which was the 100th..." Couldn't you compare the times on their posts?

I just felt like bringing this to the top...
Hehe, now we have 288!
And the percentage of GM has decreased and Tolkien has increased, so that's good New percentages: (rounded to the nearest hundredth) Tolkien forums: 33.94% (up from 27% in Dec) GM: 44.95% (down from 49%) Other forums: 21.70% (down from 24%) So this is a good sign. The Tolkien forums should be emphasized more than the other ones . Also, 5 out of the 12 forums have over 1000 posts in them. 10 of 12 have over 100, and all of them have over 50. |

Re: I just felt like bringing this to the top...
Interesting.... there's only 16 more posts in LOTR movies than in the mod forum. Pretty surprising, considering there's just five (six counting SOAH, which we haven't for six months) people posting in there. What does that tell you about the mods and admins? Hmmmm....
