Books about LotR
I think LotR is a Fantasy classic, and I like classic. I bet alot of people would agree with me.
But the reason I'm writing this is because I'm doing a study on a literary topic and I've chosen to study LotR. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some juicy books about LotR. It would be great if u could help me out and send some suggestions to my email, which is Dachamp247@hotmail.com. I hope to hear from someone... |

I've heard of that book, Finrod. I read an excerpt form it in Focus on the Family and it sounds like a load of gibberish to me. The same people who say Harry Potter is evil b/c it has magic and wizards are saying that LOTR is OK b/c Tolkien was supposedly a Christian. They take that fact and say, "Oh! So this was alluding to that story in the Bible!" And so on. Drives me nuts, the hipocrisy of it. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian, but I think Harry Potter is fine so long as you treat it as a fantasy story and nothing more. Well now that I've put my 2 cents worth in...
BTW, no offense if anyone agrees with the book or is against Harry Potter, I respect your opinions.
