I think banthas are herbivores.

That would be awful. The destruction of Alderaan is a tragic event. People shouldn't cheer at it.

But actually, I'm one of those few who doesn't hate Jar-Jar.

I like Jar Jar. He was great comic relief in Ep. 1, thankfully, he had a smaller part in Ep. 2. But I agree the scripts could be so much better. GL should really get more help on writing the script. (ie. the fireplace scene. Any guy come on to me like that and I'll be calling the Jedi Council to send me a new Jedi! Aren't there stalker laws in the GFFA?) The OT will always be my favorite.

Kill Jar Jar, slow and painfully please!!!! He was funny the first time I saw the film but after the first couple of scenes with him he gets very tedious. But please GL, I beg you so desperately, do not mar the passing of Aldaraan by having Jar Jar on there! I'll never be able to watch EpIV again! Mx

I don't hate Jar-Jar either, but I'd prefer him to die in Episode 3 (or just disappear) rather than ending up on Alderaan. If that happens, people will cheer during the destruction of Alderaan, which would indeed be horrible.

I agree with you all, it would be awful for him to die on Alderaan. It might be good in the movie if some character(s) went to Alderaan for a time, so that we could see the planet and care a bit more in Episode 4, but it would be just too awful to have Jar Jar died there. As a matter of a fact, though I dislike him in Episode 1, I'm rather worried about having him die at all. Because no matter where he dies, it would spoil the scene. Primarily the little kids would be made unhappy by his death, and the grown ups would cheer! It would be better if he just slipped away into the background.

It's interesting to note that he did have another script writer in Episodes 5 and 6, but wrote Episode 4 himself. Rather inconsistent, perhaps.

One thing important to realize about the love story in Episode 2 though is that they have more difficult of characters to work with, a dark future to prepare for, and a much smaller space to pack the love story into. There are disadvantages they had to contend with, and although obviously it's not nearly so good as Han and Leia's romance, I can still accept it as part of the series.

I don't believe he's going to blow up on Aldaran. I'm kinda hoping that Anakin gets annoyed with him and slices him to bits with the light saber. That would make for a good scene.

Yeah he did have a smaller part in Ep. 2 but think about it...the twit gave the chanceller MORE power! And hey anyone remember who the emperor was? Jar-jar practically said go ahead kill us all!

IMO, Jar-Jar shouldn't appear in Episode III at all.

Really, it wouldn't really matter if Jar Jar is in Ep. 3 because he dies anyway.
