Anyone else notice that Earniel's cafe is just...kinda nicer than average? Softer cushions on the chairs, love the wall color.
Nice job. When I saw this across the back of the couch, though, I had to laugh. http://image64.webshots.com/64/2/13/...4twtmjR_ph.jpg (my picture keeps disappearing. )

*throws water on Tess to try and wake him up* ALWAYS watch where you're going
"When I saw this across the back of the couch, though, I had to laugh." What does 'this' refer to? My dad did not get fired from the project he was working on. I am happy, but I feel bad for the 50 people who did.

And, Ch, u cant seriously mean that the pronounciation of Meal is MIIIIIIIIIIIIIL, as that kid in the McDonalds commercial pronounces it - and not mee'l as it's supposed to be pronounced.
This is only one example in a multitude of English words used by the Northeners in an attempt to sound cool. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 03-27-2009 at 04:47 PM. |

Visited granddad in the hospital today, he just got a new hip. I'm relieved all went well.

Hiya Silver! Here we mainly chitchat, tackle or glomp eachother and have a (often not so) quiet cup of tea
Can I get you something?

Teehee, that's mostly tea, though sometimes we have something a little more stronger.
And in summer you can get lots of lemonade or iced tea. Anyway... *gets Silver a cup of tea* cheers!

I've been thinking since Friday how to try to approach my voice teacher... I could either say, "I need to record two arias so that I can send in a CD and application for the summer program," or I could say, "Can I apply to the summer program?"
Because the thing is that I absolutely can't just go behind his back and do it without telling him. But since this is so last minute, he may say "no" if I make it sound like I'm asking a question. But on the other hand, he may not be very happy if I present it as, "this is what I'm going to do, are you okay with it?" rather than "may I do this at all?" Gargldybargldy. With my old voice teacher I would've just said that I was going to do it, because she liked me to take initiative. With this voice teacher I just don't know how I should approach it because he's a self-proclaimed finicky old man . |

Why do you need him to allow you to do anything at all?
Is he the one teaching the summer program, or at least, is part of the selection procesess?

*ponders on this over a cup of tea* Welcome, newbie. Don't get overwhelmed. Since this is the internet, I am going to treat everyone to my favorite tea, (which is very hard to find nowadays) Mango Ceylon. Mmmm. Tea. I need cookies to go with this. Anyone? |
