well, happy late new year anyway. had an End of the World party with a bunch of my friends - sat up watching bizarre apocolypse movies (Dr. Strangelove & this weird French movie called Delicatessan; also Army of Darkness but i fell asleep during that) & experimental short films.

i had this brilliant (ha) idea to come here on new year's, post a lot & make Elf Lord that day, but that was also the day i moved into a new house & yet more ice congealed on Dallas streets. needless to say, the Elven Lording didn't happen.

hmm - we didn't even set off firecrackers or have champagne this year. kind of unexciting compared to years past, but oh well.
