Did the Nazgul wear their rings?
If so why was the witch-kings rings not left on the ground after Eowyn and Merry defeated him? |

it is my understanding (please correct me if i am wrong) that sauron had the nazguls' rings, and he controlled them with them. since they were under the power of the rings, they had to obey sauron.
