Hey, you beat me to it! I was accused of being cynical on another thread, so this is a great idea.
Good luck in the test I'm off for a weekend consisting of boozing, meeting up with loads of old pals, more boozing, swanky luxury hotel-style opulence, romantic anniversarial extravaganza and yet more boozing. Cannae wait. |

I just found out at the last Rotary conference that I'm going to Japan next year! I've known I was accepted into the program since November, but they kept us waiting before telling us what country we were going to. Japan was my first choice, so I'm pretty psyched. Ah, the world! After the conferences it always feels so much smaller, and so much bigger. There's so much out there beyond just America, but also people are all human and we're all children of the earth (or something corny like that.^^ ).

I was accepted into Drexel University's Screenwriting/Playwriting program. Drexel was my first choice for college, so I'm happy.

Every time I realize I get to play (in a play) a sexually predatory doctor with a nymphomaniac wife, two children that I'm unaware of, and a British accent, I'm made very happy.
Which is often, as we're in rehearsal period right now

I have to make this seminar about Mountain Lions this week.. The text I should use was published in a scientific magazine some 20 years ago, and is thus not the easiest English to understand. But today, after working hard on the article, I managed to understan it all and I believe it will be a really interesting seminar!^^ *happy with herself*

I'm going to Oslo today, to meet Falagar and other Tolkien Fans! Have to take bus for 8 hours or something.. But I'm traveling with some people so I think it's going to be fun.
