Ahh! Hello, trolls' bane! I just got back from the STRANgest evening... me and my boyfriend tried to take our boat out, and it was hilARIous! He can't steer a boat, it is so freakin' funny - I kept having to fall all over myself - literally - trying to run to the front of the boat to be able to push it away from the other $50 thousand dollar boats in the marina, so as not to smash any of them trying to get out. After a brief strech of this absurd exersize, which was gaily intermingled with the boat arbitrarily filling up with mystery water and ME realising I'd left my emergency cigarette at home, we gave up and put the boat back, and went out to dinner in Manhattan Beach instead. We went to that same restaurant where I'd seen Rod Stewart a few months back at. Well, nobody famous was there tonight, as far as I could tell, but it didn't matter anyway because we had a killer supper, then came home to watch movies and be civil to one another for a change.
Trolls' Bane, I think that coffee is a few hours old - perhaps a cup of tea, instead, or a nice hot chocolate?

Mmmm, Italian coffee.... *sips*
Thanks JD, for making your 9'999th post in here. Reviving your first post about Arwen ruining Frodo's line (word to that) was a cool idea too. It's 1:30am here... *looks shifty*

Yeah, I heard that too. But I wanted to say something in the Cafe at least. He deserves credit for giving us another cool-numbered post.
A lot of people put their 500th posts (etc) in here.

Well, I've brought plenty, so please help yourself! They ARE excellent - made at a little boulangerie/restaurant on the Sunset Strip called Clafouti's. They're the best fruit tarts in town, and I've tried quite a few different ones around here. So, so yummy!

Here's a neat info link about "77 Sunset Strip"
http://www.thrillingdetective.com/77sunset.html I wonder when that movie is ever gonna be made. They could pick more interesting stars, though, I think.

Thanks Lotesse, I see we both spend too much time on trivial things....not lecturing, merely observing you're so much fun to have on the board

Thanx, Spock! Speaking of trivial things, I'm wondering what's happening to those trivia threads as of late. They seem to be getting, well, let's say less exacting, more lenient and nebulous. I wish they'd get back on track, I miss the good ol' trivia days.

Well the books, FOTR and ROTK had posts yesterday and by me on the 3rd. If the poster doesn't reply on the ROTK board by tomorrow we'll start another question. On the FOTR I sent a PM to C and if nothing by tomorrow we'll do that too. Thanks for the heads up.
