It already HAS happened where I live, and believe me, snow is way overrated. It is not cozy, warm, or nice, and it does not make anything look scenic or post-cardish. In fact, it is cold, wet and not a lot of fun.

We lucky snow tends to be quickly followed by rain here, so its pretty before it gets annoying.

Vent: i just read my way threw 700 something Boy Meets Boy comics so now I have nothing to do, not even homework!

Problem is they cost so much money and so do the games when you can just get ones nearly as good for the pc.
I don't really have enough time for a playstation either.

just had one of those days. . .things not necessarily bad, just one of those days where i just want to go disappear into somewhere very dark and quiet--maybe with pretty music--where i can just sleep for the rest of eternity.

. . .then again, talk about boring! i already think my life is boring enough as is and i always want adventure and something more. . .*sigh* help, this is turning into a horribly angsty post. i don't want to be all angsty. i mean, life could be a lot worse, couldn't it? yet here i am whining about how i'm not an elf or something. well, i am an elf. but i'm not. er. yeah.

I missed the whole of saturday sleeping. I woke up at 1 in the afternoon and checked some stuff on entmoot and TORN. I went back to bed to read and before I knew it, I wake up at 8:30 in the evening.

Have finally returned from South Carolina, land of 65 degree winters and annoying grandmothers, to Boston, land of the balmy 20 degrees (and G & S rehearsal...gah).

Annoyed. Joni not online. Am incoherent. As usual.

Saw LotR for the 4th time, though, and got a new coat. That made me happy. I probably should go read the latest BoyMeetsBoy comics, and totally freak out my brother...

I almost got bitten by a female black widow spider
I nearly got struck by lightning
I have horrendous sunburn again
I cut up my foot jumping on rocks
I have killer ear, jaw and headache
My favourite colleague has resigned
I was bitten by a spider or spiders at least six times
My back is itching
Having the dart board outside is stupid because of the crosswind
My brother is hogging the phone line

Well firstly hey guys I'm finally back after my trip to the frozen north of england and my vent is to do with getting home!!! I'm petrified of flying so having to get a plane from newcastle to stansted wasn't my idea of fun. Then the flight gets delayed because of snow- okay no problems yet! But then...they diverted our flight to land in edinburgh and told us we had to take a two hour bus ride up there and then get on the plane- start having a panic attack as I have to get back to London v quickly to get to the theatre with Ma the next day. So all bags loaded off and then we're told that the flights coming back to get us ao we have to check everything in again. Flight finally gets into Newcastle and I get back home at two o clock in the morning when I was meant to be there at ten. Took all the will power I had to get on the plane and burst into tears the second I landed at home a) because I'd been so damn scared for over eight hours and b) because I had to leave my best mate in newcastle and won't see her for ages and ages!!!!!! But other than that, great week, great new year!!!! Mx
