Jintian shangwu wo kao le hanzi shi. Kaoshi yihou hui sushe ye shuijiao le. Yinwei you yi ke shuijiao, wo qichuang ye ting zhongwen yingyue.
Yi dian ban chu wo de pengyou sushe wanr. Arg...I was taking a chinese test today, and couldn't remember the most basic characters that I had been able to write just seconds before receiving the test, but I remembered almost all of the new ones. So irritating. Does anyone know how to get chinese characters to show up in posts to this forum? They always turn out as ????????? when I try, so I have to use pinyin instead. |

I just got my German pen-pal's address. If she likes Tolkien I'll refer her to the 'moot!

Not to nitpick Chrys, but Backwardia is a code, not a language.
I'm trying to transnate this joke I posted in the joke thread into Swedish: Ingvar Kamprad, owner and founder of IKEA, is apparently the wealthiest person in the world. He will now use this money to buy some decent furniture. Here's what I have: Ingvar Kamprad, ägare och gjutare av IKEA, är tydligen personen mest förmögen i världen. Nu, han vill köpa några anständig möbler. Originally, I had the second sentence as: Han vill köpa några anständig möbler med hans pengar. but I think it's funnier this way.
