He didn't propose to me, he just assumed we were engaged. Or so he told Rad the Brown.

By the way, Eärniel, what does your signature say in English?

No, but thanks for offering . I actually am fond of ice water, which I actually can also get for myself . . .

(Hops over to the refrigerator, taking a glass from a nearby cupboard, and takes what he needs)

I am curious about Eärniel's signature, meanwhile .

(Takes a sip of water)

I remember. First it was casually mentioning something in the teacup cafe about you being here in Belgium with me, then it was all the winkwink-PM's to get us to post together in the spring ball-thread. Anyway, the dance was nice. I still don't know zilch about how to dance the Flamenco but it was fun.

But what is with guys trying to marry me off these days?! Seriously... I know it's a minor thing but for once I'd like to know whether and with whom I'm married. Those divorces are costly, ya know...

Can we start an impeachment procedure?

Erm... I was under the impression my signature was in English...
Did you by any chance mean my previous one or the one before? That one had Dutch, I think.

No, you silly Belgian. It's obviously Dutch.

I think he could be referring to mine. I mean, he implied it was someone's current signature...

I thought you were an Aussie Linaewen?

Hey, what about the Cricket, eh? Very close, very exciting! Do you follow it at all, to any degree?

Anyway, which is the better pint? Grolsch (representing in the Green Corner:the Dutch, or Stella representing the Belgians over in the red Corner)?

I am an Aussie. But I'm a language enthusiast so it's not in the least surprising that I'd have German in my sig. I actually want to throw some Indonesian in there too.

I don't follow cricket, no. Very boring sport to watch, IMO. I love swimming though.

*peers to signature* It is? I must be going language-dislexic.

I can see the logic in that: scantily clad gleaming muscular men exerting themselves before a camera...

Yeah, and we could even say he spread slander (though it wasn't, it was just nonsense.)

Hahaha, you funny girl. Obviously you're so good at English you can't tell the diff between it and your native language.

That, and I have a love of swimming myself, and we Aussies also kick ass at swimming, especially at the Olympics. I woke up at 3 AM or something last year to watch 'the race of the century' with Thorpe, Hackett, Phelps, van den Hoogenband...and Thorpe won.

I really, really want some caffeine this morning and all I have here is decaffeinated irish teabags. blech. Who's sick, twisted idea was it to invent decaffeinated caffeine beverages? That person is a miserable individual, no doubt. I will make myself a couple triple espressos here, and hopefully get some sort of virtual buzz.

Does anybody know about Springboks?

Lately the Boks have been doing quite well. And the All Blacks aren't too shabby either. They trounced the Aussies 30-13 last week. We beat the All Blacks (22-16) the week before though.

I have a friend who used to play for the All Blacks, and he told me their best opponent was Springboks. I love rugby; such an honestly brutal boy-game. I love it.

Rugby's great. I used to play field hockey from 14-16, but I ended up breaking my ankle and tearing ligaments. Started playing rugby (mainly as second/outside center) as soon as everything had healed.
