Silme felt sick at the thought of poor Siren dying no matter what they do to help. "I wish I could do something to stop this." I said to her, looking in her deep, sorowful eyes only made Sil feel worse.

"Listen, I think we should take him. I mean, I can put a binding charm on him, so he can't use his powers to hurt Siren, or anyone else, and we can take his weapons away. Besides, if anyting he'll try and kill me, and, you all would do fine without me, so nothing gained, nothing lost..." I said, trying to convince myself more then the others.

"But if we do take him," Rorin interjected "we run the risk of him breaking your bonds Awinnien. I think we all know by now what he could do if he surprised us." He glared at DeathShadow "Let's leave him and keep a sharp eye out. We must decide quickly, before he becomes free again."

Sadaki was silent for a while, trying to think. Finally, she spoke softly. "We should bring him along. Everything fits into the world somehow, even death and fear. He may be of help."

Ooc: Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I didn't get a chance to yesterday.

Sabriel is about a girl who grows up in Ancelstierre, a land much like our own just around WW2. You know, electric lights, cars, airplanes are just being made, etc. Her father is the Abhorsen, who lives in the old Kingdom that many in Ancelstierre don't belive exists. Sabriel goes to the school in the North, by the Wall. It seperates the two kingdoms, and gives a tangible line where magic ends (the Old Kingdom) and technology begins. (Ancelstierre). When Sabriel's father is trapped in Death itself, Sabriel crosses the wall. Along the way she becomes the Abhorsen herself. The Abhorsen is like a necromancer, but with different purpose. Necromancers carry bells to force the dead to do their will. Abhorsens use bells to keep the Dead at rest, or to free good souls enslaved by evil people.
Sabriel, while looking for her father, must eventually come face to face with one of the most powerful dead. He managed to throw the old Kingdom into anarchy 200 years before, breaking the center of the magic focus with the blood of the royal family.
I won't say any more, though because it would really ruin the story. It's a little morbid, but very good.

Nienna thought about it a bit and looked at Deathshadow. She didn't know what to do about him. Slowly, she raised her hand.

"I'd put my own hand up except that..." I looked down at the binds that pressed my arms to my side and then looked up at them all suggestively.

Siren looked at Deathshadow grinning at her, then let her own sharp fangs drop and returned the smile.
"What a pity you're all tied up. Let me know how that works out." She said with mock-sweetness, then raised her hand herself. "Better to take him with us than to have him stalking us in the dark".
