Eep!! You've come upon another problem with English past tense. Why isn't it "slat", like "sit" is "sat"? Grumble, grumble....stupid people who determined the past tense for present English. Just like glew!

The past tense of "slit" is "slit", not "slitted". For example, "She slit the spammers with her sword."

Yeah, I thought slitted didn't sound correct... But I still say it should be slat.

That's funny, because I don't remember Tolkien ever saying that she carried a sword.

Ah, the creativity of PJ...isn't it wonderful? I almost like him better than Tolkien

I make wooden swords to, it's so fun, I made Aragorns sword, (from the movie) not Anduril, not finished yet. I really love sword fighting, I know all Aragorns moves.

Yeah, I know. I don't particularily like Arwen in the films, but after a while I was like, hey that's actually a pretty cool looking sword...so I decided to make it.

It IS a nice blade, true to the book or not. A little too decorative for my tastes, but nice all the same, and similar to a katana in style. And I love katanas. They're my favorite swords, them and wakazashi. I would love a set, but of course I'm an elitist when it comes to swords and I will accept nothing less than the best

Voosh. In my room, currently, there is a gorgeous bone handled dirk, and glory of all glories, a CLAYMORE! It's big. Try four feet six inches or something, and I'm not joking...and it's absolutely gorgeous and I accidentally made a small hole in my cieling with it.
Oops.

Unfortuneately, neither of them are mine. I'm just the weapons keeper for the movie this summer....

By the way, Gwaimir, I like the Helsing quote...*snerk* And Elwyn's of course, EG. I had no idea Elwyn could be so congnizant.
