It's sick though. We have 13-20 year old girls liking this ...relatively old *evil grin at the even older entmooters* actor and they swoon over him. Kak if you ask me.

My question is, who did they originally cast as Aragorn, it may have been a better choice. I see the movies as Peter Jacksons vision, not Tolkien's, so why couldn't he be considerate of the public? *"He's so yum" crap*

I'm back again, and I think the 'Moot is in a decline again.

I know that it's an open website, and very popular, and that it's going to have it's vallies and peaks of quality, but it just keeps getting worse and worse.

Spam is RAMPANT among threads, even among oldbies that should know better (and I hate to say it, but a lot of the mods/admins are either ignoring it or not catching it). There are several newbies that I personally think are probably too young to handle the internet, AND the rating of the 'moot is going up steadily. It doesn't look like the PG-13 is enforced at all sometimes (and when I first joined it was far closer to PG).

I know this place is just growing and evolving with new members and the like, but, at least to me, the change isn't good, and I might leave the 'moot permanently. And yes, I know that may be a tad hypocritical, considering this quote I made a long while back (from this very thread):

I'm very sorry to hear that Starr Polish. You have been around awhile. I try as an admin to prevent things and keep the board running smoothly, but it's a big board. I think Khamul and the others try too, but I seem to be here the most.

Even though I'm considered a "newbie" here I've seen the decline of many-a-message board before, and compared to what I have seen this is nowhere as bad as it could be. This is still probably one of the cleanest boards I've been to in a long time, which is one of the reasons I joined. It is still a refreshing break from what I am used to.

Khamul has graduation coming up and stuff - plus he's valadictorian. So he's been busy and hasn't been on as much right now.

And SGH, I think you're probably one of the better admins here, and I understand it's a hard job (not that you other admins and mods aren't working hard as well). Maybe I'll just take a break again. I don't really want to leave, but some things have been irritating me for a long time, and I'm finding it hard not to flame at times, or find myself having tendencies of "newbie hater" (which is something I do NOT want to end up doing). I'll probably think it over some more, because I don't want to be a "rash teenager". Goodness knows I'm that way enough as it is.

Well, it has been my observation that it is only a hand full of people that are bringing the quality of the board down, but then again, it only takes a few to spoil it for everyone.
