Here's what I was trying to say...
"It gives me grief in which I see you sad, OrnelÃ*rÃ« MistÃ«, for I did not wish to kill this thread. Give me rest, OrnelÃ*rÃ« MistÃ«, and I shall make new sentences for you. I shall not fail you. We shall not forsake this thread."
The second translation hit the nail on the head.

Yours...

I'm working on more... but probably won't be able to get a good one in until this weekend.

Yes, but the translation's more like:
"Ruinel my friend, I thank you for hope. I shall look towards your stories."
I tried to say "I am looking forward to your stories." At the time, I didn't know what you meant by quentali, and thought it meant history or story. Silly me.

Yeah, you're right... quentalÃ« is history or story, if I pluralize it by replacing the -e with an -i, then it is quentali. My mistake.

Sentence is quentelÃ«, then plural it would be quenteli. I must have made a typo. Sorry, I've been really busy. After next week I should have a bit more time.

I'm not sure if I have understood the rules of this thread right, but is it so that the previous poster gives a Quenya sentence to translate by the next poster? This could be a good exercise for my Quenya studies... I'm not sure at all if my Q. sentence is right, though. (What is the word order in questions?)
