Admittedly, it's been a number of years since I saw Henry and June, but I do remember being crushed with boredom. I am no Henry Miller maven, but know enough about him to feel that the film lost an opportunity to investigate one of the more colorful literary figures of our time. I am interested, however, in what you liked about it. Maybe I missed something...

I can't remember, it's been years since I saw it last. I just remember liking it.

I thought A.I. was great...up to the last 20 minutes, and then it was terrible. It would have been fine had they stopped it earlier!
I love Chicken Run! it's so funny!

BAH!!); How the Grinch Stole Christmas (with Jim Carry); Fern Gulley; Fern Gulley 2; Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True; Chuckie series; Pet Cemetery (and, the sequel); Critters (and sequel); It's Alive... and probably many more that I can't remember.... I think I'm one of the only people in the world who actually liked all of AI. However, I do believe that the transition into the aliens finding little Haley Joel was a little out of place. It seemed like it was a second ending. I think it must have been Spielberg's idea after Kubrick died.
You didn't like Mummy Returns? I thought it was great! True midless entertainment in its purest form! And I heartily agree with you on 'Dune' (both the 2 hour movie and the 6 hour miniseries). I'm an avid reader of that series, and the movies but the books to shame. Agreed on all the rest too. Wow, there are a lot of really bad movies out there.

My sister Christine must have watched A Walk To Remember a hundred times... we don't even own it!! I think that it was grotesque... not a single redeeming quality... it's just how I felt in Deep Blue Sea, I just wanted the leading lady to die and get it over with.... (Oh and Daryl Hannah's lips were all Angelina Jolieish. Blergh!)
And, yes, I did hate The Mummy Returns... The Mummy was good... the sequel sucked. Oooo... another bad movie... Waterworld.

The Lynch version of Dune sucked; I liked the series though. (Obviously it doesn't come any where near the book though.)

I didn't mind the aliens finding Haley Joel whatever his character's name was, but after that, when they give him that one wish, that was annoying. I think it could have stopped right when they find him or something...and I was mad Joe didn't come back Other than that I thought it was great, though.

I thought that The Mummy Returns was pure mindless Hollywood entertainment, and if you try and take it as anything more than that, you'll hate it.
Waterworld sucked. Most Costner movies suck. he should stay away from writing and directing and just let his agent pick the scripts. Episodes 1 and 2 are travesties of nature....except for the fact that Yoda gets to kick butt in Episode 2, which made that movie worthwhile. I think George just needs to do what he did for 5 and 6 and hand over the reigns of directorship to someone else. Let someone else write it too. In fact, Lucas should just take pride that he made the original trilogy and then sit back and let someone else do the work. Conan.....that was a disturbing movie. As was Kull the Conqueror. *hides in dark corner and shudders*

The first Highlander was good, and I admit to liking the series *oh the shame! *, but the rest of the movies sucked.
