Here is my favourite song of right this minute. It's "DADA" by Guniw Tools, an old visual-kei band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R03-bQEbGUo It's pretty catchy. The video you don't have to pay attention to- I like it but if you're not into visual kei you'd probably just think it's weird.

Wow, that sounds fun! I want to write my thesis on visual kei too! I did make it the feature of one of my website projects for class. It's not very good though. :/ http://cs.nmu.edu/~jemcgree/assignment6/assign6.html By the way the frames and the table were specific parts of the assignment that had to be like that.

No Rain - Blind Mellon
I love this song. It is the perfect song to sing when I'm alone at work and bored out of my skull. |

Liked the songs ^_^ (and I didn't watch the video )
Stop the Rock The vid is a bit psychedelic, so if you are prone to epileptic attacks, do not watch it!

Brian Eno's "Taking Tiger Mountain". The whole album is just fantastic. It's called "Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy".
http://youtube.com/watch?v=jKdiU_gzUrA Actually, I change my mind. That song is good but this one is better. It's "Everything Merges with the Night" from the album "Another Green World" http://youtube.com/watch?v=VYQwSsRpBXo Last edited by katya : 04-20-2008 at 03:05 AM. |

Oh noes, I was the last one to post and I might have killed the thread for a while.. But I'm going to try again anyway, because I loooove this song.
It's Mizerable by Gackt. I didn't really like this song at first, but the more I hear it the more in love I am. I love the chorus. Unfortunately, at the moment, due to my ear infection, the whole song sounds off-key and Gackt sounds like a robot. Feel free to watch the video if you wish. It's not really that weird, as far as visual-kei goes. I adore Gackt's fancy outfit. The wasteland looking parts just remind me of the ending of Final Fantasy VIII. I'm sure you've all seen the Squackt pictures. (As if the name "Gackt" couldn't sound any worse...) But, just in case you haven't, here's a couple: http://www.angelfire.com/freak2/cera...es/squackt.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/freak2/cera...s/squackt2.jpg And of course, the video, for your viewing pleasure: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Khb7UeGYXEw |

I'm lovin' this song for some reason. I dunno... it's like... ear candy. I hear so much great, amazing music and I get to analyze it and learn so much about why it's great.... and I love that stuff and I listen to it all of the time. But at the same time, I find myself listening to more pop music than ever before. It's like a little vacation for my ears . |

I know what you mean. I mean, not that I listen to a lot of pop music, but I do have a certain fondness for Russian pop. I would never argue that it's good music, that it's serious music, that it's 'capital M' Music, but I gotta admit, it is fun to listen to.

I like your last song Katya. It appears that the singer is sort of a mystery? Nice
Tessar, does this McCartney happen to be related to another singing McCartney, or is this sheer coincidence? Like that song as well ^_^

Foundations - Kate Nash Somehow, the video isn't as satisfying as I wanted, but I love the song. Almost Easy - Avenged Sevenfold A Little Piece Of Heaven - Avenged Sevenfold Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band. I feel sad that I missed them when they were in town. A Little Piece of Heaven is effing weird, but so awesome. I was confused about it, then I saw the lyrics. Love! |
