I for one am very pleased that both the (Red) Sox and the Yankees were eliminated right off the bat. Get some new blood in there I say. Im sure Fox isnt happy about it though

Well... the White Sox made it into the World Series!
If the Cards come back and take the NL, we Cubs fans won't know who to cheer against!

Well, that's that for the Cards. I really think the Sox deserve it this year, though.

Ummm... wow. That was amazing. I think that just about wraps it up - not necessarily a sweep, but I can't see the Sox failing to win 1 at least out of the remaining 4.

Yeah - it's gotta be tough to come back from 0-3.
It was crazy though - late in the game, it seemed like every inning the Astros got the Sox 1-2-3, or if anyone had gotten on, they turned a double play on the next guy to get them both out. And the White Sox struggled to get out of the bottom of each inning - but still managed to keep the Astros from scoring. I didn't see every play, but as I understand it, the Astros got a total of 9 walks in innings 8, 9, 10 and 11 - and also stranded a total of 9 guys in 8, 9, 10 and 11!

Yep. It was pretty shocking to see it be the SOX that came up with the big inning... and they got SO lucky, what with those 2 tricklers to Ensberg...

Last year's ALCS = divine intervention. The Astros didn't get it, more's the pity for them.
Congratulations to the White Sox, 2005 World Series Champions.

Go Royals thats all I have to say. well thats not totally accurate if the Royals win some games I'll have a lot more to say, but you know they have potential.

So what do we do about Barry Bonds? Hall of Fame? Ban him? Something in between?

The Royals are the only team I've seen play. I lived in Kansas when I was a kid, and saw Bo break a few bats on his knee. Bo knows how to dissapoint.
What to do with Barry Bonds? It's tough to say. Even though it's obvious he used steriods, without definite proof, it'll be hard to deny him the hall of fame. Speaking of homerun swings, who do you guys think has the purest swing? For me it's Ken Griffey Jr. True he hasn't been living up to his potential, but man, his swing is amazing. It looks so effortless, like he's not even trying.
