Indeed - the summer showed itself at its best that Saturday. I will return to it when the flowers bloom. |

So, I went to the studio again; tried something more experimental, but also took some pretty classical shots. Managed to trick a few more friends into the studio this time.
Rubin's vase. Body landscape. Amulet. In the dark. A friend dressed up in her medieval costume. Skin. Mischief. Pink.. Closer.

.. and to something i'm more familiar with, nature photography:
The White Tree at the Russian WWII bunker close to the field station where I work. The End Shadow play Hepatica nobilis My kayaking companion during my latest wildlifing trip to Kolovesi National Park in eastern Finland. We had spectacular sunsets every evening of our 7-day trip, but the first one might've been the most stunning one with two huge rainbows and golden rainclouds Sunset the second evening of our kayaking trip My kayak on the pier

Nerdy, I love your pics.
It's great to see you developing into new areas as well. I think they look better now you don't use the signature thing. Mind you, that might be a cultural preference on my part. |

we finally got some rain here.. so i took my camera and went out just to find millions of beautiful rain drops caught by the vegetation.
i like the reflection of the white clover flower in the droplet.. the colour and b/w version.. dew on a spider web at a field site in the morning..

Lovely shots, Nerd!
Me and mum has looked through old photo albums which she has borrowed from a cousin of hers. Since I have a new lens now, a 90 macro, I used it to photograph the old photos she wanted to digitalize. I didnt even have to use a tripod. Just hold the camera in an iron-grip and the photos came out perfect. Here is a couple of Mum when she was very young. |

thanks for the feedback! if you come up with what it is you dislike about the studio photo, and if you have any ideas on how to make the other shots more interesting, let me know.. i love constructive criticism.

Ive been going through my photographs in my Photobucket account and editing the names of the albums. Adding a number and year_month in order for them to be listed in numerical order.
So the links to my photographs here have been disabled. But from now on when I share photographs - they will be in order of number and year/month. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 06-23-2010 at 12:12 AM. |
