Well, it's physically impossible for me to sleep in the daytime anyway... so what I call naps are usually just lying around, either reading or just staring off into space with nothing but my stream of consciousness thoughts...

It's fun lol.

But I need to be more awake... I have to babysit my 2 year old niece in 2 hours...

Hahahah, what reminds me of this one time, all the neighbors were over for fourth of July, and we're a really groovey bunch, so we partied and had fun and stuffed ourselves silly.

One of our neighbor's kids, Molly was 2-3 at the time, and she was up from her nap and in the living room with all of the adults just kinda sitting and recovering on the couch. She leaned over a candle on the table and then, I never knew hair could do this, her hair turned into a candle itself, but only for a nanosecond.

Why a nanosecond?

Because I have NEVER, EVER seen a group of people, from battle hardend veterans to fighter pilots to anyone, all of a sudden surge into absolute consiousness as one, and go for the girl's head to smother the flame.

She didn't even get singed, or know what was happening, it was so fast. She was just freaked out by all the hands suddenly on her head.

Aaaaaahahahahahhahahahaaaa! Memories.....

Haha, Mar.... oh my niece goes everywhere and gets into anything and wants to try everything! She's a very precocious youngster. I need to be completely alert to deal with her lol...

Gosh, I'm so tired.
I had an English test today which I aced and I had a 3 hour biology class. The teacher is great. He's a professional guide in Africa and stuff so he has great stories to tell. I didn't even mind the fact that we were repeating the stuff they teach you in elementary school.

We also talked about giant octopuses. Not sure what they are called, but in Dutch you'd call them arrow-tail-squid. He had pictures of helping a researcher friend out in which they lifted one with a 2 meter body and that was considered a small one! Coolness

*huddles near the fire, wrapped in a blanket* At least I now know why I always felt cold the past few months. Bloody illness.
