Ah. That explains a lot, Crystal. How did you find your way into the Cyber Realm? Personally I found a very odd and annoying creature called a computer that gave me access into another world called Internet.

Sure BoP! Um... what's a cossie?
If I landed in Middle-earth, I would try to learn Westron, then go to Bree, Rohan. and Gondor. And Fangorn! But I wouldn't bring an axe.

Swim suit.
Fangorn sounds like a good idea - d'ye think he'll mind if I bring Bob?

Oh I get it, short for swimming costume. Sounds like fun! We can swim in the sea in our cossies.

Building sand castles on the beach sounds dreamy, especially since I currently live on the Ice Bay of Forochel! Can Pippin come? Oh, that's right. You don't want anyone to knock them down.
Of course, if I change persona to Beruthiel's cat, "sand" takes on another meaning entirely...

I'd probably buy a boat from Cirdan and sail around everywhere. I'd hit up Gondor, visiting Osgiliath and Minas Tirith, and probably get a horse or two from the Rohirrim, and go for a ride through Mirkwood towards Dale, just to go there and have a few drinks. Oh, and I would kill some orcs and win renoun.

first stop would be the golden perch for some beer and long bottom leaf... then a long visit with tom bombadil to get the "real story" so i could write the exposé

Woah, I finally got my braces off, so I'm ready to go at any time! (see my previous post...from before I learned how to use the shift key ) I would probably have a heart attack or something, but if I survived that...it would be sweet. I would spend a year in Lothlorien to make sure I saw all the seasons. Then, as much as I would want to travel all over, I'd probably just find a comfy place to settle down, and stay there, just *being* in Middle Earth. I guess it's less tourist-y that way, you know? I'm thinking someplace pretty far up north. I'd love to go visit Tom Bombadil, even if I never figured out quite what he was. I always like reading that chapter..it's so nice there.

I'd probably jump around for a while and then not move from the spot that I was standing in. Finally, when realising i was actually there and it wasn't a figment of my imagination (as it usually is...) I would wander around for a while and then eventually make my way to Mirkwood.

Well, if I landed smack bang in Middle Earth the very first thing i would do would be to try and figure out where the hell i was. Then i'd find a map (or rob some poor bugger for it) and go on some wonderful travels everywhere I could and finally i would wander back to my farm and my husband and my mushrooms.

I don't think I'd want to be an elf with you around. My friend ethuliel made me think about the language difference and that none of the lotr characters speak english. I'd proabaly spend most of my time trying to communicate to try to get directions on getting where I want to go.

If I landed in Middle Earth?!?!? *Evil Grins*
Let me see! Now it all depends on where I would land. If I landed in any of the Elven communities (i.e., Rivendell, etc.), I would probably marvel at the beauty of the place before poking around a bit. If I landed in Moria, my klutzyness and curiosity (Which is not unlike Pippin's) would have me running out of there, being chased by orcs. If I landed in a city of men (i.e., Minas Tirith, Edoras, Dale, etc.), I would talk to some of the people to try and find out where the hell I was! Finally, if I landed in The Shire, I would probably be daydreaming beside Bywater Pool, Brandywine River, etc. about going to Middle-Earth until a hobbit asks me what I'm doing there. *Giggles*
