Yuppers. The part right after that- when Gandalf lets him go to sleep, and the last thing Pip sees is Gandalf lighting his pipe- that part is so cool. Such a neat little image of the wizard. ...there I go, digressing again. Sorry. Yes, you're right!

How can I take this losing hand and somehow win?

Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground.
I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found
One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down.
I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year!

A good question Spock, but it's Merry's turn!

I was thinking of pointing it out... but I'm just a hobbit, and I figured my logic was probably flawed.

Actually I did post the answer before Merry and it showed on my computer. Now I look and it's gone completely. Very Strange. Ok so we'll await Merry, the sneaky poster

To take care of Frodo... not to lose him. Something like that.

Ok, um...
What was the first thing Glorfindel said after Strider/Aragorn showed him the morgul blade?

Almost, but I'll be stubborn and ask you to be a tiny bit more specific...

..first he shuddered as he took it, but looked intently at it. "there are evil things written on this hilt, though maybe your eyes cannot see them. Keep it, Aragorn, till we reach the house of Elrond! But be wary, and handle it as little as you may! Alas! the wounds of this weapon are beyond my skill to heal. I will do what I can...but all the more do I urge you now to go on without rest."

I said a TINY BIT more specific, I just meant that they were written on the hilt. Anyways, you're right
