I was checking my pic here, and it is quite dated! My granddaughter is going to be 5 and my grandson is about that size now!

Here is one of me more recent...
Here's one of me hiking this summer...
Here I am back in the day with my ride...

I'm searching for a pic of mine from the early 90's though and I dont seem to have any...

Yep, I remeber you. That is just something else, to "run into" someone I briefly saw, so many years ago in another part of the country! The internet is amazing - and Entmoot, well, I suppose like attracts like no matter what the venue. How cool is that!? Great 2 C U, man!

I do too, though only for a couple of years now.

nice!

yep, been playing for many years... self taught, but pretty good through lots of practice... i jammed in quite a few bands back in my twenties... now it's a once a week thing with old friends, but still very fun

I have often wondered if I should take lessons, but I have found that I have learned so much by listening and just playing. I am in my church's worship band (hubby plays the drums) and our guitarist, who has played for many years, has been a great help and encouragement.

But you are right, playing the bass guitar is just fun!

I need to hunt and see if I have a pic of me playing.

the one thing about bass is that it doesn't lend itself to just sitting alone and jamming... i spent a lot of my learning years playing along with some of my favorite stuff on album and CD... you can learn a lot just listening closely to bass line on albums and trying to figure them out
